Terry Link (Waukegan)

Senator Terry Link has served the 30th District since elected in 1996 and has focused on improving the economic condition of Illinois. Link has worked to pass a variety of protective measures to ensure the welfare of veterans and seniors, as well as helping to pass a gaming bill that will add five new casinos to Illinois, which would help to pay off the state debt.

Link has been distinguished with numerous awards from environmental groups for his efforts to promote a clean environment. He graduated with his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and resides in Vernon Hills, Illinois, with his wife Susan Link, with whom he has four children.
