From capping the out of pocket costs of insulin to making it easier to vote, Senate Democrats are fighting for middle and working class families in IIllinois. It’s why we’ve raised the minimum wage, and are fighting to provide fairness in our tax system.
We’ll continue to fight for the expansion of healthcare, including mental health services, and the lowering of prescription drug costs. We will also keep up with our broadband and infrastructure investments across the state, while creating green jobs and mitigating climate change.
A few years ago, we passed a historic education funding reform to attack the inequities built into our system, and while significant progress has been made, we will continue to advance educational equity from Pre-K all the way to trade school and higher education.
Senate Democrats are working towards reform, whether that be ethics or criminal justice reform, or providing the necessary and overdue investments in underserved communities across the state. Join us in this fight.
